Welcome to the 4th International workshop on Quantitative Biology (IWQB-2017) !
Cellular decisions are frequently made in a dynamic manner.
This temporal complexity added to spatial intricacies makes it difficult to
interpret cell biology data using ‘intuition’ alone.
Systematic advances in technologies for high-throughput imaging,
image organisation and analysis are enabling new quantitative studies of
dynamic cellular processes.
This year’s workshop is organized on conceptual and technological advances in
Quantitative Cell Biology:
(i) Automation for high-throughput data aquisiotion,
(ii) Innovative techniques for detection and visualization,
(iii) Dynamic decision at the sub-cellular level, and
(iv) Emerging technologies of image acquisition and analysis.
Topics include:
Cell division mechanisms
Cytoskeletal regulation
Emerging microscopy tools
Advances in Image analysis methods
Novel fluorescent probes
Automation of big-data-experiments
This year's IWQB has grown as the largest workshop among the series until today, which includes both IWQB petit for students and full 4 sessions IWQB
see also Links.
The talks of the conference will be in English to help the international audience that would be attending the conference.
We plan to have poster sessions as well, including a short talk session on the first day of the workshop and so we encourage students and young researchers to participate at the conference.
This workshop will be held on the 14th and 15th of April 2017 in Yokohama, Japan.
Registration fee is free to attend this workshop.
Look forward to seeing you in Yokohama !!
